The 2nd Annual Kidz N Cameras Photography Contest & Awards Ceremony
The 2nd Annual Kidz N Cameras Youth Photography Contest & Awards Ceremony is a celebration of creativity, confidence, and emotional storytelling through the lens of young photographers across Northwest Arkansas.
This annual contest is open to students who are currently enrolled in 3rd–12th grade during the Fall of 2026. Participants will be invited to submit one powerful image that reflects how they see the world — their emotions, their experiences, and their unique perspective. Students are encouraged to move beyond snapshots and create photographs that communicate feeling, meaning, and story.
Finalist images will be showcased during the Award Ceremony on Friday, November 13, 2026, hosted at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas. The evening will take place in a theater-style setting with seating for up to 200 guests and will honor standout young photographers, elevate student voices, and celebrate the transformative power of visual storytelling.
To receive prizes, winning participants must provide proof of current grade enrollment (such as a valid school ID or official school documentation).
Official submission guidelines, contest rules, and deadlines will be released in Summer 2026.
More than a contest, this event reflects the heart of Kidz N Cameras — empowering young people with the technical skills, creative confidence, and platform to be seen and heard.

Every child deserves the chance to explore self-expression through photography. Our Give What You Can youth workshop (ages 10–17) offers hands-on learning, guided practice, and creative challenges — perfect for all skill levels. Cameras provided if needed. Pay what you can; all contributions help provide supplies and scholarships.
